This is a skin and scoped meshes for The Scorpion, as Howard Chaykin originally imagined him.

Atlas/Seaboard Comics was the brainchild of Martin Goodman, the man who "created" Timely/Atlas/Marvel Comics. The most common explanation is that it was done in revenge because the people who bought Marvel from Goodman did not keep his son Chip on the payroll. So Goodman decided to compete with Marvel and destroy it. He also wanted to make money. He created a company that did a couple of things that changed the industry: they returned the artwork to the creators and allowed creators to retain the rights to their characters.

They also started with big plans: they would re-print the THUNDER Agents, and would license several movies and TV shows. They would create a line of comics with everything: police action, western, super hero, horror, heroic fantasy, science fiction. They would offer the highest rated in the industry.

Then, Martin Goodman began to change his mind. They didn't bring back THUNDER Agents, instead they brought back Tippy Teen, and re-named her Vicki. Instead of licensing TV shows and movies, they cloned them. After the second issues of most comics, the third issues were not recognizable.

Atlas only lasted a year, publishing 64 individual issues of 25 titles.

Most were decent, a couple were interesting, but Martin Goodman began to sabotage his own company by insisting that the comics be nearly identical to Marvel comics. It meant that the pulp-era adventurer became a poor man's Spider-Man, the messianic Phoenix would get to looking a lot like Black Bolt, the tragic Moorlock would lose his comic to another series, and The Destructor would gain a different set of powers.

Most comics only lasted three issues, a couple lasted for four.

This skin comes with its own hex editied and slightly scoped (put the DR. Strange Sash on his neck) Tom Versatile mesh. A C6 base was used in the creation of this skin. A FFv3R compatible mesh and keyframes are included. Also, I've included a copy of jik's Spiderman (the first one with the eyes) and an old skin I did of the second version of The Scopion.

The Scorpion was in top physical condition (and may have been immortal), and a crack shot with his guns. He was also lucky as all get out. In his "modern" incarnation, he had wrist-mojunted swinglines and "stingers" as I remember, but basically he was on the order of a Daredevil-level hero.

No infringement of copyright is intended, this is just fan art. Permission to use in mods and such is granted, but it would be nice if you gave me and all those who contributed to this character.
