This is a skin and scoped meshes for The Vampire. She had one appearance and then was never heard from again. Why? One source says it is because of her "sensuality".

Appearing in Gem Comics #16 (A Frank Johnson Publication, probably for February 1948), the introductory blurb in her first story says that she has become a legend in most parts of the world. Then the story begins as she is sleeping in the luggage room of transport plane close to Rangoon. Suddenly two high-tech planes fly out of a cloud and use a magnetic ray to hijack the whole plane off someplace in the Himalayas. It is up to The Vampire to solve the mystery and free the plane. Will she do it?

I have seen reference to this strip as being criticized for the lead character's "sensuality". I may be jaded, but frankly I don't see it. It looks like the artist may have gotten a real woman to pose for him, but none of the poses are really provocative. Come Gen #17, she was gone.

But what could she do? Apparently she was a crack shot, but she never gets into a physical confrontation, so any expertise in the martial arts is not known. It is a kind of silly character, especially since on the cover her costume is bright green. I have included a skin that is a darker shade of blue with black accessories. I think the intention is that she be a female Batman.

This a Huntress mesh by Grenadier with a lot of the parts hidden, and he gloves from Gren's Scarlet Witch and some bootcuffs from Tommy.

It's Halloween. Boo!
